As both a commissioner and creator, Clarke is passionate about new work and innovative cross-disciplinary projects.
As a community builder, Clarke often engages in cross-disciplinary projects and lectures in salons and global venues.
Clarke currently serves on the board of National Sawdust, a venue that commissions, produces, and presents cultural programming rooted in sound, supporting artists in various disciplines who are passionate about experimentation and innovation.
In addition, Clarke is passionate about both restoring the classical bel canto style singing as well as seeding new works by contemporary composers. A strong believer in the bel-canto style and nurturing young artists, Clarke currently serves on the board of Classic Lyric Arts, an international training program for young opera singers.
She is also an active member of the Young Patron circles at Carnegie Hall, New York City Ballet, The Metropolitan Opera, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Neue Gallery and The Frick, where she supports emerging artists and forward-thinking programming.
